Maths Games

Everyday we play maths games. Sometimes we play BINGO. Teacher calls out sums and we put a counter on the number, if we have it. The first one to fill their card is the winner!

Mixing Colours

Last Monday, we mixed some paints. We learned that blue and red makes purple, red and yellow makes orange and yellow and blue makes green.

Pancake Tuesday

Yesterday was Pancake Tuesday. Some children brought pancakes for lunch. We wrote recipes for pancakes in our copies. To make pancakes you need: 2 cups of flour, a pinch of salt, 1 egg, 1 1/2 cups of milk. Sieve the flour and salt into a bowl. Add the egg and milk and stir until smooth. Cook on a hot frying pan. Serve with sugar and lemon. Enjoy!

Planets

For the past two weeks, we've been learning all about planets. Leanna and Chloe brought in books about planets and Cian brought in his telescope. We made planet mobiles using card and wire hangers.
